Houses of this type have been very popular in recent years, and there is absolutely no indication that this trend will change. In this case, the house is adorned with smooth boards made from thermally modified pine, featuring a caramel hue. This choice is no accident—pine and spruce wood, when thermally treated, gain a beautiful warm color that brings a premium natural feel. This wood also acts as a good insulator, both thermally and acoustically, providing warmth and quietness. It stands out for its durability and stability. These advantages mean that with proper care, thermally modified wood can last for several decades in outdoor conditions. The shorter side of the façade is clad with Cembrit Patina Rough panels. The result is stunning!
As for us, we simply can't take our eyes off this beautiful home, and we're very happy to have been part of it. The materials for the façade and terrace can be find here... and in addition to the products mentioned above, thermally modified pine (thermowood) beams were used for the substructure, and PFS+ screws were used for the installation.
